![]() I wish there was a feature where you could customize which “hazards” to voice prompt. Also, I’m in the top 1%, but how do I know when I’m getting close to losing that prestige? How do I see if the population is catching up to me? Finally, the fact that it doesn’t tell you whether your destination is on the left or right is so irritating and basic that I’m shocked it’s not a feature. I know a certain route isn’t normally the fastest, but I also know my city’s traffic patterns and it won’t show it. Another issue is that it doesn’t show all routes. Sometimes my app won’t show my icon but shows the “shadow” of where it’s supposed to be. I looked at my screen and the low battery 20% alert was up!! All of my background apps were closed, and there was no reason for my battery to plummet that quickly. I was at 43%, opened Waze & drove for about 12 minutes, decided to add a stop. The Help button in the TCDS is context sensitive. But each of the modules has a Help button at the top with access to much information. Below you will find documents to help with various aspects of the system. The Non-Motorized Database System (NMDS) module holds counts from permanent or short term bicycle and pedestrian counts. The Turning Movement Count (TMC) module holds our intersection counts. The Traffic Count Database System (TCDS) module is the main data system with our straightaway counts and includes the raw data and annual statistics. In the public and internal portals, you have access to three modules. In subsequent visits, this blue button will take you straight in to the TCDS. The first time you log in, you will have to use the blue button that says ‘Log in with ADFS’ and then enter your ODOT login data. ODOT employees can go to Transportation Data Management System to access the internal portal. This is limited to data years that have been finalized. The public can go to Transportation Data Management System to access the public portal. The OTMS pages are optimized for use in a Chrome browser. At most sites, it also allows you to access more detailed count data. The available data includes common annual statistics, such as Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) and truck percentages. Or if you know a Location ID already you can look it up that way using the Search box. You can zoom in, zoom out, and pan to an area of interest. The Oregon Traffic Monitoring System (OTMS) is an online interactive tool where you can access count data.
